She was born in Bell County on January 4, 1938 daughter of the late Uless and Axie L. Martin Laws. She was a member of the Hosman Baptist Church and had worked as a sales clerk at Newberry's and in Medical Records at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Wanda June Laws. Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Matthew Cox, children, Ray and Susie Warren and Elaine Warren; grandchildren, Raylena Warren, Josh Mason, Tasha Dilligham, Les Lawson, Marsha Lawson and Chris Lawson; great- grandchildren, Todd Root, Dylan Root, Michael Boene, Meghan and Josh Lawson and Bradley Taylor; sisters, Anna F. Taylor and Phyllis Laws; father-in-law, Calvin Cox; brothers and sisters-in-law, Freida and Josh Cox, Christine and Davis Nunn and Delbert and Mary Cox, special friend, Jewell Goodin and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. Services were Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Hall and Rev. Anthony Lovett. Burial was in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. Pallbearers were Lonnie Mosley, Ken Lawson, John Colins, Michael Cox, Joe Miller, Charles Miracle, David Nunn, Bill Short and Eddie Haley. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Warren, Jr., Billy Joe Hall, Jimmy Wells, Elmer Jeffers and Josh Cox. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Cox Family.
