Born Jan. 15, 1916, in Washington County, he was the son of the late Harrison and Ada Harmon Coyle. He was a farmer and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and Springfield Masonic Lodge 50 F&AM. He served on the board of directors of the Washington County Livestock Center and was the widower of Mildred Cocanougher Coyle. Survivors include a son, Johnny Coyle of Springfield; two sisters, Maxine Elliott and Eunice Holderman, both of Springfield; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by two infant sons, Tommy and Donald Coyle. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Beech Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Daniel Wilson. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:30-9 p.m. today at Carey & Son Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. ______________________________
