Funeral services for Manuel Lawton Crabtree, Jr., 19, of Marshes Siding, 
fatally injured in a traffic accident on Ky. 92 at Smithtown on Christmas Day, 
were held Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 2 p.m. at McCreary County Funeral Home Chapel 
with burial following in Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery. the Revs. Oscar Worley 
and Arnold Roberts conducted services.  Kentucky State Trooper Regal Bruner 
investigated the accident but was unavailable for a report on the accident. 
His car reportedly ran off the highway.  Crabtree was born Aug. 30, 1958, to 
Manuel Lawton and Maxine Crabtree at Oneida but lived in McCreary County most 
of his life. He was a member of Sidney, Ohio Baptist Church. Besides his 
parents, he is survived by two brothers, Oscar Leroy and Michael Crabtree of 
Marshes Siding; two sisters, Nadine Longmire of Marshes Siding and Fayrene 
Wilson of Stearns; and a grandmother, Ada Wilson, of Hill Top. Two brothers 
and three sisters are deceased.  McCreary County Funeral Home arranged 
services.
