He was an employee of the Kentucky Department of Highways for 28 years before retiring 10 years ago. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at White City. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Gentry Crady; 6 daughters, Mrs. Russelll (Betty) Hunter, of Louisville; Mrs. Jean Hunter, of Crestwood, Kentucky; Mrs. Joe (Joyce) Williams, Lexington; Mrs. John (Judy) Cox, English, Indiana; Mrs. Ramey Cantrell, of this city, and Mrs. Wayne Bishop, of Elizabethtown; 3 sons, Cecil, Henry and Walter Crady, all of Louisville; several grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mrs. Howard Smith and Mrs. Butler Smith, Mrs. James Horney and Mrs. Stella Jackson, of Loiuisville, 4 brothers, Raymond and Gilbert Crady, of Louisville; Joe Crady, San Antonio, Texas, and the Rev. Wilson Crady, of Lowlesville, West Virginia. The body was at Williams & Miller Funeral Home in this city until the funeral at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at White City.
