"A SAD COINCIDENCE. It is a sad coincidence that the older brother [of Benjamin M. Crenshaw], who lives in the Allen home, is ill with a deep cold, and that Thomas, another brother, is confined to his bed with heart trouble and neither of these were able to attend the burial of their brother and sister." "THIRD MEMBER OF FAMILY TO DIE WITHIN PAST TWO MONTHS. The long-looked for came to Mr. H. T. Crenshaw, the Coral Hill merchant, Tuesday morning, when death relieved him of his suffering from heart disease and complications, at the age of fifty-nine years. "He is survived by his wife, who as Miss Minnie Mayfield, and two children, Miss Elizabeth and Mr. Joe Crenshaw. "It will be remembered that Mr. Crenshaw was not able to attend the double funeral of his brother and sister, Mr. Ben Crenshaw and Mrs. Roger Allen, which occurred April 18th, and he has seemingly been at death's door ever since. "His surviving brothers are: Messrs Richard Crenshaw of Coral Hill, Jas. G. Crenshaw of Smithfield, Texas, Harry Crenshaw of Bruce, also one sister, Mis Mit Crenshaw of Coral Hill. "Mr. Crenshaw was a member of the Christian Church, and was a fine business man, most valuable to his community. His death is a great loss to his family and friends. "Funeral services will be held at the residence in Coral Hill this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Eld. T. H. Alderson, and the burial will be in the family burying ground at the old Crenshaw home nearby."
