Between Henry Crist, Nicholas Crist and Ruth Crist his wife of the one part and Sarance Robey of the other part Witnesseth that the Henry, Nicholas and Ruth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof they do hereby acksnowledge have bargained and sold to the Sarance Robey a certain tract or parcel of one hundred and sixty five acres of Land lying in Bullitt County & State of Kentucky and on the waters of foxes creek Including the place whereon the said Robey now resides Beginning at he east corner and at the beginning of a survey bough by Nicholas Crist of Benjamin Fox at a hickory and three sugar sapplings thence south fifty degrees west two hundred and seventy three poles to a read oak ash and dogwood, thence north forty degrees west ninety eight pols and a half to a poplar two white oaks and two dogwoods thence north forty eight degrees east two hundred thrigy three pols to an ash poplar and elm thenced south fifty east one hundred pols to the beginning. to have and to hold the one hundred and sity five acres of Land with its appertunances to the said Sarance Robey, heis heirs , _______ & _______to have for his only proper use forever and the Said Henry, Nicholas & Ruth his wife for themselves and their heirs do further warrant and agree to and with the Sarance Robey and his heirs the aforesaid tract of Land with its appertunances to the said Sarance Robey and his heirs, they will warrant and forever defend against themselves and their ehirs against every other person or persons claim or claims whatsoever In Witness whereof the said Henry, Nicholas and Rught Crist his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals on the day and year above Written Henry Crist (seal) Nicholas Crist (seal) Ruth Cirst (seal) Signed Seald and delivered in the presence of Jo Irwin James Caldwell James Crenshaw Ruth Crist being present before us two of the Commonwelaths Justices of the peace for Bullitt County being examined a part from her husband the above named Nicholas Crist freely relinquished her right of Dower to the above described Land and freely concents her relinquishment may be recorded as such Witness our hands this 29th day of May 1797 Joseph Irwin James Caldwell Submitted by: Lisa Bailey lisamoo1@yahoo.com This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/kyfiles/
