Croft.Zenoba.1942.Crittenden.OBIT Zenoba Hanson Croft 1942 Obituaries Crittenden Press 6 Feb 1942 Father of Marion Mayor Dies Zenoba Hanson (Bud) CROFT, 77, died suddenly following a paralytic stroke at his Blackford home late last Thursday. A native of Christian County, early life was spent in Crofton, removing to Blackford about 55 years ago. For many years Mr. Croft ws employed by Illinois Central System, Evansville-Hopkinsville district, in charge of carpenters in bridge and building department. He was pensioned and retired in 1930. Survivors are his wife, formerly Laura MORGAN of Blackford; a daughter, Mrs. J.M. Brantley of Nashville, TN; two sons, Mayor R.W. CROFT of city, Claude CROFT of Durham, NC; two brothers, D.M. and Curtis CROFT, both of Crofton. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Blackford Methodist church with Rev. J.R.
