To: KYF Subject: Crowell.Clarence.2002.Boyle.OBIT Clarence Crowell May 12 2002 Boyle County KyArchives Obituaries Danville Advocate Messenger, 23 May 2002 A memorial service for Clarence "Pete" Crowell, 54, of McMinnville, Ore., will be 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Presbyterian Church in Danville by the Revs. Peter Bartuska and Danny Williams. He died May 12 in McMinnville. He was the son of Clarence "Shine" and Emma Lou Crowell of Danville. He was a 1966 graduate of Danville High School. He was a retired 911 director in McMinnville and had worked to improve health care in Appalachia, starting one of the first helicopter "Life Flights" in Pittsburgh. Other survivors include his wife, Lynn Crowell; a son, Robert Crowell of Gresham, Ore.; a brother David Crowell of Versailles; and two sisters, Ann Boyer of Huntington, W.Va., and Cheryl Seneff of Nashville, Tenn.
