Submitted by Sherri Hall I have no connection and no further information and am not seeking additional information. >From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 17 April 2003 STANFORD -- Services for Jearlene Lanigan Darland, 66, of Waynesburg will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at New Life Church of God of Prophecy in Waynesburg by the Rev. John K. Silvers. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. She died Tuesday at her home. Born Jan. 7, 1937, in Waynesburg, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Lillian Singleton Lanigan. She was a retired Matsushita employee and lead singer for New Gospel Fire. She was a member of New Life Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include her husband, James Darland; a son, Chris Carey of Waynesburg; a daughter, Vicki Delk Stewart of Ashland; three stepsons, Tommy and Timmy Darland, both of Harrodsburg, and David Bishop of Danville; a stepdaughter, Lisa Lewis of Junction City; three brothers, Jack Lanigan of Science Hill, Kenneth Lanigan of Casey County and Roy Lanigan of Platka, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandchild. Pallbearers will be Ricky and Roger Young, Tony Lanigan, Zachary Clements, Daniel and Brian Stewart. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at Spurlin Funeral Home Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice. ______________________________
