Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings Marie Lyons Daugherty, age 81 of Custer,KY died Wednesday, 3-12-2008 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Breckinridge County,KY on 1-1-1927, the daughter of the late Raymond Lyons,SR and Maude Katherine Thomas Lyons. She was a homemaker, a member of Custer United Methodist Church, Custer O E S #456, Amaranth of Elizabethtown, a Kentucky Colonel and former advisor of Custer Rainbow Girls.
 
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters - Edith Carter and Anna Pendleton
 
Marie is survived by her husband Willard Daugherty who she married on May
10,1947
in Owensboro,KY
her daughter and son-in-law: Rita and Larry Williams of Custer,KY her grandson and his wife - Brad and Robyn Williams of Bowling Green and their sons Parker and Mason.
1 brother - Raymond Lyons,JR of Custer,KY
4 sisters: Etta Pile and Elsie Gray of Custer,KY Evelyn Bailey - Hawesville,KY Betty Fraze - Elizabethtown,KY
 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 3-15-2008 at 3PM at Custer United Methodist Church with Rev. Beryle Fentress officiating. Burial will be in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation on Friday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home from 3:30 - 8:00PM and after 8:30AM Saturday. Eastern Star service on Friday at 6PM. 

Memorial contributions are requested to Custer United Methodist Church.
