Davidson December 23, 1918 Barren-Warren County KyArchives Obituaries Unknown Glasgow (KY) newspaper, date of publication unknown. "FINE CITIZEN DIES. Mr. B. G. Davidson Dies in Bowling Green. Mr. B. G. Davidson died at his home in Bowling Green, Monday night of last week, at eleven o'clock. Death as due to heart failure, encouraged by asthma. Mr. Davidson had been in poor health for several years. "The remains were brought to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gardner here Tuesday night, and the following day interment was in the Glasgow cemetery after funeral services at the Baptist church, of which was a devout member, by Rev. Pope Duncan. "Mr. Davidson was thirty-five years of age, and a son of the late Mr. B. G. Davidson, and was a member of the firm of Davidson Brothers, Wholesale Grocers, of this place, who by their ability, business acumen and responsibility have built up a tremendous business and put Glasgow on the map as a wholesale market. "B. G." as his friends loved to call him, as one of the most conscientious, most considerate, and most deserving young men any community ever lost. He was admired by a host of friends, who had implicit confidence in him, and his death will be keenly felt. "He is survived by: his wife, Mrs. B. G. Davidson, one little daughter, Mary Katherine, one son, B. G. Junior. Three brothers and three sisters also survive. They are: Mrs. W. J. Davidson, of Burnside; Mr. H. E. Davidson, of Bowling Green; Mr. G. Price Davidson, of Louisville; Mrs. Warner Gardner, of this place; Mrs. Wirt Comer, of Nashville, and Mrs. Harry Mitchell, of Los Angeles, California."
