"Bill" Davis, 77, of Tibbs Lane, Danville, formerly of Ottenheim, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Hebron Baptist Church in Waynesburg by the Revs. Dan Gutenson and Jimmy McKinney. Burial will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18 of the American Legion. He died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington. Born Dec. 10, 1925, in Highland, he was the son of the late William T. and Chloe Della Carrier Davis. He was a farmer and a member of Mount Hebron Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the widower of Marcella Wilcop Davis. Survivors include a daughter, Radonna Bredar of Danville; a brother, Raymond Davis of Highland; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael, Jeff and Casey Reed, Roger Kirkpatrick, Dennis Davis and Doug May. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Rick's Marathon Coffee Club: Dan, Vic and Arnold Carrier, David Sims, Charlie Martin, Gene Snyder, Joe Robbins and Lowell Saylor. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at Fox Funeral Home. Memorials may go to Mount Hebron Church or Lincoln County Humane Society. ______________________________
