And First, it is my will and desire that if I owe any debts they be punctually paid by Executors herein after named. 2nd. I leave to my daughters, HARRIET HODGE and SUSAN CAROLINE McCLANAHAN, to whom I have heretofore given what I considered their just proportion of other property, my waring (sic) apparel of every description to be divided between them as they may think fit- 3rd. I leave my Negro Girl, Maria, her & her increase to my Grand daughter, SUSAN CAROLINE EWING. 4th. I leave to my Grand daughter, ANN ELIZA SMITH, my Negro woman Dinah & her child, Amanda, them and their increase forever to be held and kept by my sd. Grand daughter for her use and benefit during her natural life and at her death to go to her heirs of her Body forever. And it is my request that her Father, THOS. M. SMITH, see that my said aged Servant, Dinah, be treated humanely and retain her in his family to assist in raising the children of my daughter. I also give my Grand daughter, ANN ELIZA SMITH, my bed and furniture and my silver Tea Spoons. 5th. I leave whatsoever else I possess to my Son in Law, THOS. M. SMITH, and appoint him together with GEO. W. EWING, Executors of this my last will and testament requesting that no Sale of any of my property be made and that no bond be requested of them or either of them that may administer by the Justices of the County Court.
