Herald 1992 MRS. DIPRIMA Mrs. Velma Marie Diprima, 63, of 1210 Fouth Street, died Tuesday, March 17, 1992 at her residence after a long illness. Mrs. DiPrima was a retired employee of the Beech Nut Baby Food Company of Rochester, N.Y. and was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Portsmouth. Born in Logan county, West Va. on June 4, 1928, she was the daughter of Will and Martha Music Takett. She was married to Anthony DiPrima who died in 1970. Surviving are two sons, Roger Lee Jones of Shenandoah, Va., and Albert Reniera of Rochester, N.Y.; one daughter Melissa M. Diprima of Portsmouth; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are two brothers, Acie Tackett of Melvin, and Rans Tackett of Germantown; two sisters, Virdie Tackett of Portsmouth and Mrs Goldie Mashburn of Quincy. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Mid, Raymond, Clarence, Glen and Curtis Tackett, and two sisters, Mrs Gay Wells and Mrs. Bertha Little. Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, 1992 at the Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Rev. Clarence Hall officiating and burial in the Skidmore Cemetery at Garrison.
