Deed Bk A, p 66 This Indenture made the 26th day of May 1795 between Wm CHAMBERS & Jno HANLEY as attorneys in fact for Elijah DORSEY of Anne Arundel County & state of Maryland of the one part and Jacob VANMETRE of Hardin County and state of Kentucky of the other part. Witnesseth that the said CHAMBERS and HANDBY for and in consideration of the said Jacob VANMETER becoming a setler in the town of Vienna agreeable to the terms & conditions set forth by Jacob MYERS on the twenty third day of February 1795 The then proprietor of the land whereon the town of Vienna now stands which terms and conditions were set forth in writing under hand and seal by the aforesaid Jacob MYERS the receipt of which _____ is hereby acknowledged hath granted and confirmed unto the afore- said Jacob VANMETER his Heirs and assigns for Ever one certain lot of land in the aforesaid town containing half an acre number fifty and an out lot to contain eight acres and _____ and known by the number with their appurtena nces to have and to hold unto the said Jacob VANMETER his Heirs and assigns ____ to their only proper use and behoof free and clear from all ____ _______ whatsoever and the said CHAMBERS and HANDLEY for Elizabeth DORSEY and her heirs do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Jacob VANMETER his heirs and assigns that they aforesaid lots of ground with their appurtenances they the said CHAMBERS and HANDLEY for Elizabeth DORSEY with her heirs will covenant and forever defend against the claims of all manner of persons whatsoever In witness Testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and year aforesaid At a Court held for Hardin County Wm CHAMBERS [seal] on Tuesday the 28th of May 1795 The John HANDLY [seal] above deed was acknowledged by Attorneys in fact for Wm CHAMBERS and John HANDLEY Elizabeth DORSEY Attorneys for Elizabeth DORSEY and ordered to be Recorded Transcribed by Patricia O'Connor p-oconnor@att. net Submitted by: Elizabeth Rivera msboinks@msn.com This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/kyfiles/
