Dow-and-Cochran.1935.Jefferson.MARR COCHRAN-DOW WEDDING The marriage of Miss Katharine Cochran to Mr. Paul Dow was solemnized at 6:30 o'clock yesterday evening in the garden of the bride's mother, Mrs. William Cochran, in Maysville. The ceremony was preformed by the Rev. Robert Van Thurn. Miss Catherine Akin Barbour and Miss Jessie Glover Ronald, of Louisville, were the bridesmaids. Mr. Sam Stone, of Louisville, served as best man. The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. William Cochran, of this city, wore her grandmother's wedding gown of old ivory lace with a tulle veil. She carried an old-fashioned bonquet. The bridesmaids wore white chiffon shirtmaker frocks made with accordian-pleated collars and long sleeves. Small white buttons extended from the collar to the waist-line in front and the full skirts had accordian-pleated inserts. They carried hats filled with garden flowers. After a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Dow will make their home in Green Acres, Louisville.
