He was born in Bedford Ky., Feb. 28, 1858, a son of Willis and Jane Farley Duncan. He came to Utah in 1908 as a convert to the LDS Church, and was building custodian for Mountain States Telephone & Telegraph Co. until his retirement several years ago. Mr. Duncan was a member of the Wandamere LDS ward. His wife Mrs. Eva Lewis Duncan, died in July 1942. Survivors include three sons William Perry, Joseph A., and Noah P. Duncan all of Salt Lake City; three daughters, Mrs. Lucy Taylor, Mrs. Laura Millgate, Salt lake City, and Mrs. Grace Jones, Murray; 23 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. Funeral sevices will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Wandamere LDS ward chapel, 2952-7th East. Friends may call at 4760 S. State Thursday afternoon and evening, and Friday from 10 a.m. until time of sevices at the home of a son, Noah P. Duncan, 605 Leland Ave. Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Sinnett was the cousin of my Great-grandfather Samuel Dicen Farley. After Samuels death in 1916 my grandfather, Bryan Farley came to Utah to live with his uncle Sinnett.
