Elijah T. Durrett, 76, 1877 1/2 S. East, will be buried in Round Hill
Cemetery after services at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in G.H. Herrmann Funeral
Home. He died Saturday in General Hospital of burns suffered June 30 in a
fire at his apartment. Born at Sulphur Well, KY. Mr. Durrett had lived in
Indianapolis 45 years and operated a light hauling business 30 years.
(He was born May 12, 1885, son of George Anderson & Mary Elizabeth
McCubbins, his middle name was Thomas).
