Kelly 1831 Daviess County KyArchives Deed Written: 1831 Fauquier County Virginia This indenture made the first day of December Eighteen hundred and thirty one between Thomas Kelly of Daviess County in the State of Kentucky as attorney in fact for George T. Kelly of the state and County aforesaid of the one part and Robert Embry Jun. of the county of Fauquier and state of Virginia of the other part, whereforth that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and eighty-three dollars an 37 1/3 cents by him the said Robert Embry Jun to him the said Thomas Kelly hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, he the said Thomas Kelly hath ---bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell to the said Robert Embry one certain tract of parcel of land lying and being in the County of Fauquier, and bounded as follows to wit. Beginning at three ---on the South side of the marsh road, corner to William Skinker and running thence South fourteen degrees West one hundred and three poles to the white oak sapling thruce East one hundred and sixty two poles to a stone thence North nineteen degrees South thirty two degrees forty four poles to two pine stumps thence nineteen and half degrees East fourteen poles to the box oak stump thence North thirty two degrees East fifty two poles to a pine At the road thence with the remainder of the marsh road to the beginning containing Eighty one and one half acre to the same more or less. It being part of the tract of land devised by the late Thomas Kelly of Culpeper County to the aforesaid George T. Kelly, and which said land has lately been divided by commissioners appointed by the County Court of Fauquier. To have and to hold the said eighty one and a half acres of land and every appurtenance therewith belonging to him the said Robert Embry Jun his heirs, executors, administrator and assigns forever and the said Thomas Kelly, agent and attorney in fact for his father the said George T. Kelly for himself and his heirs shall and will warrant and forever deferred the premises hereby granted, bargained and sold to him the said Robert Embry Jun his heirs and assigns forever. In testimony whereof the said Thomas Kelly hath hereto set his hand and seal this day and year first above written. Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of us Jos. C.
