Submitted by Sherri Hall I have no connection and no further information and am not seeking additional information. >From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 29 Apr 2003 STANFORD -- Services for Elmer Farris, 67, of Ottenheim Road will be 2 p.m. Wednesday by Bryce McCulley at Fox Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery. He died Monday at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. Born Jan. 23, 1936, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Cecil H. and Ella Noise Hale Farris. He was a retired wood craftsman and coal truck driver. Survivors include four sons, Lonnie Farris of Hazard, Jeffrey A. Farris of Stanford, Mike Floyd of Lebanon, Ind., and Kenny Farris of Waynesburg; two daughters, Cathie Lee Staton of Junction City and Teresa Gail of Frankfort; three sisters, Dorothy Lunsford of Orlando, Ky., Grace Hiter of Spencer, Ind., and Verlie May Palmer of Lebanon, Ind.; a brother, James C. Farris of Stanford; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Steve Williams. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today. ______________________________
