Sent: Thursday, October 09, 2003 6:10 PM >From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 12 Dec 2002 Logan Faulkner, 92, of Skyland Drive, Stanford, died Wednesday at his home. Born May 13, 1910 in Lee County, he was the son of the late Frank and Sarah Carpenter Faulkner. He was a logger and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Stamper Faulkner; two sons, Logan Faulkner Jr. of Pasadena, Texas, and Ron Faulkner of Trenton, Mo.; five daughters, Fern Randolph and Linda Herring, both of Stanford, Mary Damron of East Bernstadt, Lillian Yeagerand Sandra Cox, both of Versailles; a brother, Thomas Faulkner of Clay City; three sisters, Pearl Stamper of Beattyville, Betty Borchers of North Carolina, and Mary Carroll of Richmond, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three daughters, Virginia Drake, Lorene Spencer and Peggy Waddell; and two sons, Ralph and Frank Faulkner. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Samuel Faulkner. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Friday. ______________________________
