LEBANON -- Verna Lemons Ferrell, 93, of Gravel Switch died Tuesday at St.
Frances Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 6, 1909, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late
George T. and Herma E. Wagner Lemons. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Darrell Ferrell of Danville; two daughters, Martha
McKay of Owensboro and Betty Bugg of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Marcus D. Ferrell; and a daughter, Mary
Alice Bottoms.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Bosley Funeral Home by the Rev. Mike
Wright. Burial will be in Ryder Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
