                        BILLY D. FIELDS
Billy Denzil Fields, Sr., 42, of 4832 Elmhurst Ave., Norfolk, VA. Died
Saturday at a hospital in Portsmouth VA.
     Born Dec. 4, 1935 at McVeigh KY, he was the son of Bud fields and 
Sarah Sawyer  Fields. He was retired from the Navy.
     His wife, Janet (Charles) Fields of Norfolk VA, survives. Three sons,
Billy D., Randall, Lee and Charles Edwin and a daughter Teresa Lynn 
Fields, all of Norfolk; four brothers,

Bobby Fields of Oceana, Arnold Fields of CA, Rodney Fields of Rockwood, MI,
and Barry Fields of Taylor, MI; seven sisters, Shirley Ball of Wise, VA., 
Edna May of McVeigh, Ky., Donna Trout of San Antonio TX, Jeannette 
Underhill and Garnetann McCoy, both of Taylor, Elanie Halsey of Southville,
MI., and Mrs. John Willman of Lapear, MI.
     Funeral services were to be held today at 2 p.m. at the Smith and
Williams Funeral Home in Norfolk, Va. Burial followed in the Forest Lawn 
Cemetery at Norfolk.
