AUSTIN FISHER. Mr. Austin Fisher died at the home of his son, Esq. W. J. Fisher in Glasgow, Saturday morning, at the age of 83 years. Mr. Fisher was born and reared in the Bristletown section, just south of town, and spent his entire life on the far there, until a few months ago, when his wife died, and since then he has divided his time between his two sons, W. J. and T. C. Fisher of this place. Mr. Fisher was a splendid citizen, who had the confidence and respect of all who knew him. He was a quiet, industrious farmer, a member of the Baptist Church until a few years ago, when he joined the Methodists, where his membership was at the time of his death. The remains were taken to Mt. Pleasant, near Roseville, Sunday, where brief funeral services were conducted by Esq. Sam Francis, after which they were laid to rest in the cemetery of that place."
