Frankie, 96, Lexington, widow of Elmer Fleming, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 1997 at her daughter's home. Born in Bourbon Co, she was a daughter of the late George Franklin and Mary Susan Scott Crouch. After attending Eastern College for Teachers, she taught school in a one room school house in Bourbon Co. and later was the owner of Fleming's Restaurant on Maxwell & Mill St. for over 21 years. A member of Northern Heights Christian Church, she was also a member of the Lydia Circle at the church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Judy A. and Elwood Ritchie, Lexington, and Alice C. and James Hobbs, Madison, TN; four grandchildren, Delores Arnett, W.V., James F. Hobbs, Gallatin, TN, Stephen Hobbs, Madison, TN and Charlotte Ritchie and her husband, John, Lexington; four great grandchildren, Joshua and William Arnett, and Ashley and Chelsea Hobbs, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home by Pastor John A. Hampton. Burial will be in Carlisle Cemetery, Nicholas Co. KY.
