Thos. Flowers was born Aug. 9, 1864 and departed this life February 19, 1946, making him 81 years, 6 months and 10 days old. He was united in marriage to Marguerite Sharp in 1890. She preceeded him in death in 1920. To this union 10 children were born, four sons, Ernest F., Pernie, Herman and Carl, six daughters, Mrs. James Thomas, Mrs. Weyman Carter, Mrs. Robert Newton, Mrs. Mack Morgan, Mrs. Fred Shawler and Mrs. Haynes Daugherty all of whom survive, also three brothers, a host of loved ones and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Mr. Flowers professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Methodist church at Custer and lived a true and devoted Christian life. Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. F. J. Perkins, who paid a beautiful tribute to the memory of the deceased.
