I would like very Much to see You but Circumstances are suh As to prevent at preasant. but I hope the time Will Come And that e'er long When We May be premited to See each other at our own option. And then farewell to the Old law., for the New law Must be established and the old law Abloished I Wish You to Remember Me as Your friend in truth And if I get killed in this War Just Condier that one true Kentuckian has Died for is County and for thee for I am gone to fight for My Country.
