Foster, late ______ Foster now ____ Duncan & Thomas Duncan her husband, late Frances Foster now Frances Cardin & James Cardin her husband, late Miranda Foster now Miranda Smith and Francis L. Smith her husband, and late ______ Foster now Nancy Cockrill and Joseph G. Cockrill her husband. It appears that the said John Foster had in his lifetime made advances to his said Children as follows ???? to Sarah Foster and her Deceased Husband a negro boy and Sundry other articles amounting to $481.25. To Paschal Foster a cott and cash $224.06. To Henry Foster in a negro boy and other sundry articles $373.62. To James Cardin & wife in 3 negroes & sundry other articles $674.12. To Thomas Duncan and wife in two negroes & sundry other articles $553.50. To John J. Foster in cash and Horse to $224.80. To Dabney Foster in Cash, Horse $210.02. To Francis L. Smith & wife in three negroes and sundry other articles $792.50. To Joseph G. Cockrill and wife three Negroes & sundry other articles $662.25 . . .
