2006 Trent-Dowell Funeral Home obituaries
Jesse Maitland Frakes, age 89 of Falls of Rough,KY died Tuesday, July 25,2006 
at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford,KY. He was born in Daviess County,Ky on 
December 10,1916 to the late Clint and Artie Bell Bratcher Frakes. He married 
Evelyn Marscena Taylor in 1938 in Daviess County,KY. He was the former owner 
and operator of Frakes Shoe Repair in Owensboro,KY. He was a member of TPA for 
over 50 years. 
 
He enjoyed country music which he played on the guitar and harmonica. He loved 
family time and flea markets.
 
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter - Lisa Marscene Jacob in 1993.
  
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2006 at 1 PM at Corinth 
Baptist Church in McQuady, Ky with Rev. Jake Huffman officiating. Burial will 
be in the McQuady Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-8PM and 
after 8AM Friday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, Ky.
