ELIZABETH THOMAS FRANCE
 
    Elizabeth Thomas France, 80, of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, 
January 8, 2003 at the Pineville Community Hospital.  She was born on November 
12, 1922,  the daughter of the late Job C. and Sina Riddle Thomas.  She owned 
and operated France Grocery Store.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy 
France, brother and sisters, Georgia Thomas, R.C. Thomas and Jessie Dozier; 
half-brother and sister, Maynard and Thomas and Ruby Smith, step-daughter, 
Patricia Blanton and special nephew, Jobbe Dozier.
    Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and George Clyde 
Robbins of Pineville, grandsons, Jeffery and Clyde Robbins, step-son, Harold 
France; step-daughter, Phyllis Browning; special niece, Della Mattox and a 
host of nieces and nephews.
    Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the East Pineville Baptist Church 
with Rev. Shelby Money.  Music will be by the church choir.
    Burial will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro.  
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
    The family will receive friends after 6 PM Thursday at the East Pineville 
Baptist Church.
    Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the France 
Family.
