I was Glad to heare from You. And to heare that you was well. I am also well for which I feel Very thankful to God. & I Would be be Very thankful to Our Col. if I could Get to Go home that I might have an opportunity of Seeing you. Oh, Dear Beck. You Could Not imagine how much pleasure it Would give me to see You but I cannot at present. for I Am A Soldier Now and Under Military laws. therefore I cannot Go home at my own option for if I could I would See You Very often.
