Mavis Frazier
1919-1994

Mavis Bryant Frazier, 75, of 11611 Webb Court, died Sunday in Our Lady of 
Bellefonte Hospital.

Mrs. Frazier was born Feb. 10, 1919, in Elliott County, a daughter of the late 
Robert and Martha Johnson Maddox.  Her first husband, Everett Bryant, died in 
1976.

Surviving are her husband, James Frazier, Jr.; two sons, Delmar Gene Bryant of 
Ashland and David Allen Bryant of Huntington, W.Va.; three daughters, Martha 
McCormick and Donna Collins, both of Ashland, and Mary Evans of Myrtle Beach, 
S.C.; two step-sons, Gary Roger Frazier and Leonard Allen Frazier, both of 
Ashland; a stepdaughter, Connie L. Crum of Ashland; two brothers, Ezra Maddox 
of Ashland and Everett Maddox of Hazard; a sister, Mable Ison of South Point, 
Ohio; nine grandchildren; several greatgrandchildren; and seven 
stepgrandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Straight Creek Church of 
the Nazarene by the Rev. Harold Brown.  Burial will be in Fultz Cemetery in 
Carter County.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Steen Funeral Home-Cannonsburg 
Chapel and one hour before the service Tuesday at the church.
