VIRGINIA TAYLOR FUNSON
 
    Virginia Taylor Funson, 90, of Cincinnati, passed away on Wednesday, July 
23, 2003 at the Vista Care Hospice in Cincinnati.  She was born in Bell 
County, KY on April 6, 1913 the daughter of the late James Joshua and Etta 
Slusher Taylor.  She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and had 
been a homemaker.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred Funson and 
several brothers and sisters.
    Survivors include her children, Ron and Gay Carol Funson of Loveland, OH, 
Harold Funson of Patroit, IN, Fred,Jr. and Linda Funson of Fort Wayne, IN, 
Joyce and Ralph Parcell of Beyersville, IN, Brenda and Dean Shoemaker of 
Williamsburg, OH, Shirley Hamersley of Mt. Carmel, OH and Gaylene and Vernon 
Collett of Goshen, OH; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and 
three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
    Services were Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Ray 
Collett.  Music was by Mickey Wilder.  Burial was in the Pineville Memorial 
Cemetery, Pineville.  Pallbearers were family and friends.
    Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Funson 
Family.
