SIDNEY CHAPPELL GAUNT

	Sidney Chappell Gaunt, 88, Lexington, widow of Harry B. Gaunt, died 
Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at University of Kentucky Medical Center.  Born in 
Pineville, KY, she was a daughter of the late J.S. and Elizabeth Chappell.
	She was a homemaker, member of the First Presbyterian Church and the 
Presbyterian Church Circle.
	She graduated from Carson Newman College, was past president of the 
Lexington Women’s Club, member of the Oaks Homemakers Club, past chairperson 
of the Mountain Laurel Festival, and a resident of Hartland Hills Retirement 
Community.
	Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Tayloe, Lexington; a son, Bart 
(Ruthmary) Gaunt, Louisville; and three grandsons, Benjamin (Erica) Gaunt, 
Samuel (Katie) Gaunt and William Gaunt, all of Louisville.
	Funeral services were 2:30 p.m. Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home- Harrodsburg Road by Rev. Leigh Bowman.
	A graveside service was held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Pineville 
Cemetery.  A memorial service was held 7:30 p.m. Friday at Hartland Hills.

Fund, 171 Market Street, Lexington, KY  40503.
