Mrs. Marie Godsey, 67, of Stearns died April 4 at Scott County Hospital where 
she had suffered from a lingering illness./  Mrs. Godsey was born August 31, 
1908, the daughter of the late Jimmy and Angelina Coffey. She was a lifetime 
resident of McCreary County and the wife of the late Wilburn Godsey./  
Survivors are four sisters, Ollie and Frona Worley, India Coffey and Lillie 
Godsey, all of Stearns./  Funeral services were held at the Mountain View 
Baptist Church of which she was a member, on Monday at 2  p.m. Rev. 
Herbert "Bud" Perry officiated./  Burial was at the Godsey Family Cemetery. 
The McCreary County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
