She was born in Tinsley on November, 10, 1923 a daughter of the late Sylvester “Sil” and Nannie “Lissie” Petrey Goodin. She was a Baptist and had worked at American Greeting Card Company until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Opal Goodin and Claudia Hammons and brothers, Floyd Goodin and Ishmael Goodin. Survivors include her sisters, Cleo Jackson of Ingram and Frances Hayes of Middlesboro and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Services were at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Truman Partin. Music will be by the Ebenezer Baptist Church Choir. Burial will be in the Bingham Cemetery at Flat Lick. Pallbearers will be Randy Hayes, Brian Hayes, Paul Wayne Goodin, Phillip Goodin, Larry Hammons and Bo Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Sandy White, Dickie Jackson, Ralph Rhoden, Ted Surber, the staffs of Corbin Nursing Home and Middlesboro Health Care Facility. The family received friends after 6 PM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
