She was born in Moore Hill, KY on April 18, 1937 to Lola Johnson Maham Simpson and the late Albert Mahan. She had owned the Grey Hound Station Cafe' in Pineville and Fountain Dress Shop in Middlesboro. She was a member of the Calvery Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Hank Deon Hendrickson, and step-father, John Simpson. Survivors include her husband James Luther Goodin of Pineville, son, Timothy Hendrickson of Pineville, mother, Lola Simpson, grandchildren, Ashley Jackson, Adam and Chris Hendrickson, great-grandchild, Shana Dion Jackson, brothers and sisters, Franklin Simpson of Wilmington, OH, Beulah and Harold West of Artemus, Addie Marie and Leonard Davis of Artemus, James and Freda Simpson of Pineville, Jackie Worley of Cincinnati, OH, Jimmy Mahan of Louisville and John O. and Jo Simpson of Dayton, OH and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Lifford, Rev. Jackie Jaggers and Rev. Tim Ogle. Music was by the Singing Pilgrims. Burial was in the Mills Cemetery, Pineville. Family and firends served as palbearers. Arnettt & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Goodin Family.
