Owner and operator of Crown Laundry and Cleaners in Glasgow; former member of Glasgow City 
Council; director of Citizens National Bank; director of Glasgow Railway; veteran of WW II.
Survivors:
Sons: Dr. Robert Porter Goodman of Lexington, KY and Charles Logan Goodman, Glasgow.
Grandchildren: Mrs. Samuel House (Marilee)Varner, Anne Goodman O'Connor and Robert Porter 
Goodman, Jr, all of Lexington; Charles Austin Goodman, IV of Glasgow.
Great-grandchildren: William Goodman Varner, Robert Porter Goodman III, Anne Alexander Varner and 
Elizabeth Day Varner.
Brothers: Robert F. Goodman of Glasgow and Julian Goodman of NYC.
Services: 11 am Monday, 21 May 2001, First Presbyterian Church, burial Glasgow Municipal Cemetery; 
Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
