Gray - Eliza Trunnel October 20, 1848 Bullitt County KyArchives Deed Written: October 20, 1848 Recorded: November 17, 1848 Deed fee paid Debitum__ 17th Nov 1848 Bullitt County Book L, Page 244 This agreement of bargain and sale transfer and assignment, made and entered into this 20th day of October A.D. 1848 between Eliza Trunnel of Bullitt County of the first part, and Joseph M. Gray of Jefferson County (all of Kentucky) Witmforth: That the said Trunnel for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to her in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and for the other consideration hereinafter to be set forth hath this day granted bargained and sold aliened, transferred & assigned and doth, by these presents, grant, bargain and sell, alien transfer and assign unto the said Joseph Gray, the following described property towit: One four house waggon four horses, one blind sorrel and two roan horses & one roan mare, twenty-one head of Hock hogs, marked a crop and under bit in one ear and a slit on the other, also twelve sheep of different marks, one cherry beaureau and one yankee every day mantle clock; one sugar chest; one light ___ and _____ two thirds of 15 acres of corn standing in the field and two stacks of oats. To Have and To Hold these property unto the Joseph Gray, his heirs forever provided however and this conveyance is on the following conditions. That whereas the Eliza Trunnel is indebted to the Joseph Gray in the full sum of __ Hundred dollars, money lent to Eliza by her brother the said Joseph Gray, and whereas the sum Eliza hath this day executed to Gray her four several notes for fifty dollars each, the first payment six months after date, the second payable twelve months after date, the third payable eighteen months after date & the fourth payable twenty four months after date & each drawing interest from date ___ of the said Eliza shall will and truly pay off the notes & the interest thereon as they may each become due, then this conveyance to be void and of no effect; Otherwise to be and remain in full ____ and _____.
