ALICE ALFORD GREEN

	Alice Alford Green, 81, of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, April 
19, 2003 at her home.  She was born in Tinsley on March 4, 1922 to the late 
John and Mary Webb Alford.  She was a believer in the Baptist Faith and had 
been a homemaker and mother.
	In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, 
Martin H. Green, sons, John L. and Charles Randall Green, Brother, Clarence 
Alford and sister, Maude Baker.
	Survivors include her children, Billy E. and Cassie Green of 
Pineville, Mary and Andy Williams of Pineville, Jewell and Nick Woodard of 
Winchester, Robert Paul and Gretchen Green of Pineville; daughter-in-law, Sue 
Green Bryson, sister, Mae North of Tinsley, eleven grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
	Services were Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. 
Paul Gibson.  Burial was in the Oak Dale Cemetery at Brownies Creek.  
Pallbearers were Tracy, Travis, Jason and Chad Green, Douglas, Joel and 
Jeffrey Woodard and Justin Callebs.
	Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was in charge of arrangements.
