Tuesday, May 20, 1980, McCreary County Record:
Charles Edward Gregory, 32, Parkers Lake, died May 15 at Whitley City. Funeral 
services were conducted May 18 at 2 p.m. at Hickman Funeral Home Chapel with 
Rev. Hobert Vaughn and Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Burial was in Angel 
Cemetery./  He was born Oct. 2, 1947, in Somerset to the late Earlie and 
Elaney Watters Gregory. He had lived here for years and was a truck driver./  
Survivors include his wife, Daisy Abbott Gregory, Parkers Lake; 4 brothers, 
Earl Gregory, Parkers Lake, Gary Gregory, Knoxville, Tenn., Larry and Jeff 
Gregory, both of Parkers Lake; 3 sisters, Charlene Abbott and Janice Fuson, 
both of Parkers Lake, and Betty Watters, Whitley City./  Hickman Funeral Home 
was in charge of arrangements.
