Tuesday, January 17, 1978, McCreary County Record:
Coolidge Gregory, 53, Rt. 1, Stearns, Ky., died Jan. 8, 1978, at the Lake 
Cumberland Medical Center following a lingering illness. Funeral services were 
held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Hobart 
Vaughn officiating. Burial was in the Gregory Cemetery./  He was born March 
22, 1924, in McCreary County to Bud Gregory and Emma Vaughn Gregory, who 
preceded him in death. He was a timber worker and a member of the Cedar Grove 
Baptist Church./  Survivors are his wife, Gussie Gregory; his children, George 
Lowell, Dean, Anna Ruth, Betty and Mack Gregory of Stearns, Ky., 12 
grandchildren; three brothers, Guy, Strunk, Ky., Schyler and Edison Gregory of 
Stearns, Ky. One sister, Laura Gregory, of Stearns< Ky. Four grandchildren, 
three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death./  McCreary County 
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
