23 Aug 1828 Spencer Co. Deed Book B p.  160  Greenberry GRIFFEN of the one part 
to William FOXWORTHY of the other part.  That for and in Consideration of the 
Sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid hath Granted bargained and sold 
unto the said William FOXWORTHY a certain tract or parcel of land lying and 
being on the Waters of the East fork of Coxes Creek and bounded SLAUGHTER’s old 
line... east to Sycamore Run.
