Deed Bk B, p 57 GRUNDY; WOOD; JANE; JOHN; LYDIA; WILLIAM; EVANS; GRAYSON Know all men by these presents that for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred dollars to me in hand paid we have this day bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell unto Gordom GRUNDY a negro wench JANE about twenty eight years of age and her three children a boy cald JOHN and a girl by the name of LYDIA and boy cald WILLIAM & we do oblige ourselves our Heirs Executors or administrators to warrant and defend the title of the said negroes to be the sd Gardom GRUNDY and his heirs forever.
