Breckinridge County Herald-News, Friday, Sept 15, 1961 OBITUARY Jess C. HALL, Sr., age 64 of Hardinsburg, Ky (Breckinridge County), died Monday, September 4, 1961 at St. Joseph Infirmary in Louisville, Ky. Mr. HALL was a retired sheet metal assembler, and moved from Louisville to Hardinsburg last May. He was a member of the Hardinsburg Baptist Church. He was born in Cloverport, and moved from there to Louisville several years ago. He remained a member of the Masonic Lodge #133 at Cloverport. He was a former Deacon in the Baptist Church there, and a Sunday School Teacher for several years. He is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Mary C. HALL of Hardinsburg, Ky one daughter: Mrs. Mary Ann VON WERDER of Orlo Vista, Florida (Orange County) two sons: Attorney Charles W. HALL of Hardinsburg, Ky Jess C. HALL, Jr. of Louisville, Ky two sisters: Mrs. O. O. LEWIS of North Bullerica, Massachussetts (Middlesex County) Mrs. J. E. GREGORY of Cloverport, Ky 15 grandchildren Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 7, 1961 from the Cloverport Baptist Church, and burial was in Cloverport Cemetery.
