John Handley's sister Mary Douglass married Captain George Little and the grandson 
of George did extensive research on his relatives.  That grandson's daughter carried 
on her father's work and joined the DAR of Owensboro Kentucky. 
This document is one of those typed up notes showing how John Handley invited his 
sisters to join him in Vienna Kentucky and a little bit about his lifestyle. Apparently 
his wife deserted him and the children and he had to rely on family to help him out.
