Hardaway June 17, 1925 Breckinridge County KyArchives Obituaries Breckinridge News; 6/24/1925 DEATHS CHAS. D. HARDAWAY Charles D. Hardaway, a farmer and a life long resident of Bewleyville, died at his home there Wednesday June 17. He had been ill for two years with cancer of the stomach. Mr. Hardaway was a son of the late Thos. Hardaway. He was born sixty-nione years ago on a farm at Bewleyville. on October 15, 1884, he was married to Miss Margaret Hardaway, who survives with six children; Mrs. B. L. Stith, Indiana, Mrs. B. O. Wilson, of Moravia, Ky., Edgar and Thomas Hardaway, of Indiana, Truman and Charles Caroll Hardaway, of Bewleyville. Mr. Hardaway was a brother of Mrs. D. C. Moorman, of Glen Dean, Dr. Moorman Hardaway and Ernest Hardaway, of Louisville, Glen Hardaway of West Point and Pierce Hardaway. The funeral was held at the home Thursday afternoon. The Rev. E. P. Deacon, pastor of the Bewleyville Methodist church, officiated. Interment was held in the family burial ground at Bewleyville. Mr. Hardaway had been a loyal and devout member of the Methodist church since a young man. He was well known his community as a man with christion ideals of integrity and love of his family, neighbors, and friends.
