No book or page number provided by the researcher who placed it in the folder. [stamped] 1 This indenture made this nineteenth day of may in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred between Balser Clacom and Catherine his Wife of the County of Breckenridge & State of Kentucky of the one part and William Hardin Senior of the county and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Balser Clacomb and Catharine his Wife, for and in consideration of the sum of twenty three pounds current money of said State to them in hand paid by the said William Hardin the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge themselves fully satisfyed hath granted bargained and sold & by these presents doth grant bargain & sell unto the said William Hardin his heirs and assigns forever, Three lots of land situate lying and being in Hardins Town in the county & State aforesaid containing as followeth, that is to say two in lots of half an acre each known on the plan of said Town by number Twenty Seven and thirty one also one lot in said Town known on the plan thereof by number four containing four acres as will appear by the plan of said Town and all appurtenances thereinto belonging or in anywise appurtaining to have and to hold Each & every one of the said lots of land and appurtenances to him the said William Hardin his heirs & assigns to the only proper use & behoof of the said William Hardin & his heirs forever & they the said Balser Claycomb and Catherine his Wife for themselves their heirs and executors doth further covenant and agree to & with the said William Hardin his heirs assigns that they the Said Balser Clacomb & Catherine [stamped] 2 his wife their heirs and executors will forever here after warrant & defend the said lots of land and premises to him the said William Hardin his heirs and assigns forever against the claim of all and any person or persons claiming the same under them I witness whereof they the said Balser Clacomb and Catharine his wife hath hereunto Set their hands and affixed their seals this day and date above written. signed sealed & deliverd = Balsor Clacom seal In the presence of = Catherine Clacom Seal Breckenridge County May the 14th 1800 Then came Baltzer Clacom and Catherine his wife she being first privately examined as the Law directs and acknowledged the within to be their act and deed attest-- William Kelso Clk Recorded August the 21, 1800 This Indenture made this Nineteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred Between Balser Clacom and Catharine his wife of the County of Breckinridge & State of Kentucky of the one part & John Riney of the County & State aforesaid of the other Part, Witnesseth that the Said Balser Clacom & Catharine his wife, for and in Consideration of the Sum of Twenty pounds Current Money to them in hand paid by the Said John Riney the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and them Selves fully Satisfyed, hath granted bargained and Sold & By these presents doth grant bargain and sell Unto the Said John Riney his heirs and assigns for Ever Two Lots of Land Situate lying & being in Hardins Town in the County & state aforesaid Containing as followeth, that is to Say one out Lot known on the Plan of Said Town by number Twelve Containing four Acres three Roods and five Poles; also one out Lot Known on the Plan of the Said Town by number Twenty one Containing Four acres three Roods and five Poles as will appear by the plan of Said Town, and all appurtanancies thereunto belonging, or in any wise Appurtaining To have and to hold Each and Every one of the Said Lots of Land and appurtanancies to him the Said John Riney his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and Behoof of the Said, John Riney his heirs & assigns for Ever & they the Said Balser Clacom and Catharine his Wife for themselves their heirs & Executors Doth further Covenant and agree to and with John Riney his heirs & Assigns that they the Said Balser Clacom & Catharine his wife their heirs & Executors will for Ever hereafter warrent And defend the Said Lots of Land and premises to him the Said John Riney his Heirs and assigns for Ever against the Claim of all and Every person or Persons Claiming the Same Under them or any person or persons whatsoever; In Witness whereof they the Said Balser Clacom & Catharine his wife hath hereunto Set there hands & affixed their Seals this Day and date above written. The clerk's recording comments after the list of signatures is unreadable. Likewise the specific book this record is located in was not noted by the person who placed the copy in the Claycomb family folder at the Archives. 288 This Indenture made this the ninth day of September One thousand Eight hundred forty Eight between Nicholas Claycomb, Nelson Claycomb, Aquilla Claycomb C. Claycomb, Hyram Claydomb, Elijah Claycomb, Grayson Claycomb, Polly Jordan & Nancy Hall of the County of Breckinridge & State of Kentucky & Sally Sypes of State of Indiana of the one part and Thomas Miller of the first mentioned County State of the other part Witnesseth That the said Nicholas, Nelson, Aquilla, Conrad, Hyram, Elijah, Grayson Claycomb, Polly Jourdan, Nancy Hall and Sally Sypes & in consideration of the sum of One dollar in hand paid the receipt of which is here acknowledged hath bargained and sold and Do by these presents bargain Sell and Con__ unto the said Thomas Miller a certain Tract of Land lying and being in the County of Breckenridge and on the waters of Sinking creek and bounded as following-- viz. Beginning on the Waters North side of Sinking Creek Hyram Claycomb's corner ___ White oak and cedar thence North 25 East 154 poles unto the said Hyram Claycomb land to a Sugartree and White oak corner to Joel Adkisson thence North 48 E 40 poles to a corner on Joel Adkisson's line a white oak and Dogwood thence South 33 East 209 poles to a Beech on the bank of Sinking Creek thence down the Creek to the Beginning To Have and to hold the said Tract afsd with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise Appertaining to him the said Thomas Miller and his heirs forever And the said Nicholas Claycomb, Nelson Claycomb, Aquilla Claycomb, Conrad Claycomb, Hiram Claycomb, Elijah Claycomb, Grayson Clayconb, Polly Jordan, Nancy Hall & Sally Sypes do ____ Covenant and agree that they will forever warrant and defend the said Tract of Land him, the said Miller and his heirs forever against the claims of themselves their heirs and assigns and from the claim or claims of all and any Other Person persons Whatsoever Claiming the Same or any part thereof in any manner whatsoever either in ______ In Testimony Whereof the said Nicholas, Nelson, Aquilla, Conrad, Hyrum, Elijah & Grayson Claycomb, Polly Jordan, Nancy Hall and Sally Sypes have hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year first Written Richard S.
