Secondly After the payment of my debts and funeral expenses I give my wife Rachel Hardin one third part of my estate both real & personal for and during the term [time?] of natural life and after her decease[.] I give the same to my children herein after mentioned equally to be divided among them and to be ejoyed [enjoyed] by them forever[.] Thirdly I give to my son Moses B. Hardin the farm on which I now live [__________] [copy cut off] the farms of Elijah Hardin and James Frerick [sic?] running in paralel [sic] lines with [___] lines to include three hundred acres to him & his heirs forever except one acre wherein the graveyard now is which I reserve for myself and family and others for a burying ground[.] Fourthly my son Elijah Hardin I have deeded three hundred acres of land which is his portion of my real estate[.] Fifthly All the rest of my estate both real and personal of what nature or kind [___] it may be not herein before particularly disposed of I desire may be equally divided among my several children herein after named[:] Sally Pain formerly Sally Harind[,] Mehuldah Hardin formerly Mehulda Hardin[,] Celia Witt formerly Celia Hardin[,] Nancy Hardin formerly Nancy Hardin[,] Rachael Jolly formerly Rachael Hardin which I give to them their heirs executors administrators and assigns forever[;] my two sons Elijah Hardin and Moses B Hardin to be equal with the above heirs in my personal property by not real estate[.] And lastly I do hereby constitue and appoint my two sons Elijah Hardin and Moses B Hardin executors of this my last will and testament herein revoking all or former wills and testaments heretofore made[.] In Testament whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 26th day of May in the year eighteen [___] and fifty five.
