"MRS. HARLOW DEAD. Our town and community was made to pass through a cloud of sadness Sunday morning December 17, 1911 when the news of the sudden death of Mrs. Harlow came to our ears. The family had only been living among us but a short while, having moved here for the health of Mrs. Harlow. It was hoped that the change would prove beneficial to her but alas! when the least suspected death claimed her for his own. How truly has the Psalmist uttered "In the midst of life we are in death." Mrs. Harlow was one of our best characters, one that it seems we could ill afford to loose, but why not be content to let God have the best? "She had been a member of the Methodist church from girlhood and was true to every vow made to the church. "She was patient, cheerful and hopeful. May these heavenly virtues find lodgment in the lives of the husband and two children, and fdriends who are left to mourn their loss. "She was placed to rest Sunday at 5 o'clock .m. at the cemetery in Saranton. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. Frank Luker, Pastor of the Methodist Church."
